Poured into my tulip glass.
pours murky copper brown with a small head. Fades quickly but leaves a rim around the glass.
The smell seems restricted. I find a dominant reminisces of scrumpy cider, champagne and Riesling. Loads of tart lemons rocking through.
Instantly some green apples, pears and table grapes jump out which again re images the flavors of a nice English scrumpy. Shiraz grapes. Wood carries through out the beer. Noticeable kick of booze near the end.
Light spritz almost champagne like is enjoyable and a medium mouth feel suites the flavors well.
Overall this beer is missing an extra kick thou very enjoyable for what it is. Red Duck always go all out and get wild which i love and some times it really pays off.

A saison aged in ex port barrels and pours a amber hue with a wispy one finger head and some lacing here and there, the smell is port, barnhouse funk and cherries and yeah its very inviting, the feel is light bodied and lightly carbonated and yeah its lacking some body for me and the tastes are shiraz grapes, funk, red berries, a touch of citrus zest and finished with a warming port booziness and overall its a great idea that just lacks some execution but easy enough to drink just expensive cheers.
