I've purchased this both as 'Lager' and as 'Czech Pils', but it was definitely the same beer (very erm distinctive). I added it as Lager because that's what most people have called it.
Very pretty, brilliant golden with a persistent film of silky white head and visible carbonation. Positives end there. Strange, unpleasant hop aroma seemed skunky, a surprising feat in a brewpub. Flavour was relatively bland, with no pils sweetness at all, and a disproportionate bilious hop bitterness. Clean lager yeast profile. Not recommended.
