Deep gold pour, steady head with a touch of lace. Nose is honey and malt.

Taste is solid lightly kilned malt, honey, sweet floral, merest touch of herbal. Mouthfeel is light leaning towards medium. Finish is honeyed malty goodness.

Pretty solid - pours a nice copper color with a crystal clear finish and light head. The nose gives floral notes along with honey and a hint of grapefruit rind. The taste is brioche bread with a light hint of honey and some floral flavors. Finished clean and crisp - would reach for this again.

16.9 oz. can poured into tall mug
(June 11, 2025 born-on date; Sept. 11, 2026 best-by date printed on bottom of can)

L: gold SRM 3, clear, topped by a thick head of creamy offwhite foam over an inch thick that is sticking a bit to the glass; keeps a full 1/3-inch thick head of foam from loads and loads of activity in the glass ... this beer is churning; at times the stickiness of the foam is 10/10; overall a work of art

S: peach, peach pith, lemon peel, hints of stale grain; it's not overly expressive but still pleasant; there might be a pinch of hops/black pepper but only a pinch

T: light notes of peach and bread/donut up front for a sweet arrival followed by a black pepper/earthy hop finish; it's arguably simple and understated but also elegant and very tasty ... the sweet peachy bread note up front followed by the drying slightly bitter finish is bang on; as the beer warms, that opening peach sweetness is growing

F: light, creamy and crispy — you sip through a full head of foam constantly that softens the arrival, but there's still a ton of carbonation beneath that that offers a full layer of crispiness; it does feel a shade thin at times, but it's not overly watery

O: this can is 11 months old and still in tip-top shape, which is part of why I grabbed it — Tucher has quickly become a favorite brewery of mine and very consistent; everything I've tried from them so far has been solid if not fantastic, and this one is right there, bordering on world class for the style IMO; I will buy this again and would love to find it in 4- or 6-packs

It’s great. A tad bitter but reminds me of a hofrbau helles. Traditional helles. Honey, floral, and a bit malty. It’s refreshing and I currently am sick while drinking it. I’m sure it taste much better when I’m not sick.

Not a bad beer at all.

Poured a 16.9 oz can into a large tulip glass. Beautiful cascading white head that dissipates into a foamy lacing. Color is an darker than expected amber hue with zero sediment or suspended solids. Aroma is honey toasted cereal malt with a touch of hops. Taste is phenominally honey-bread that finishes with a crisp bite of floral hop. Mouthfeel is medium and creamy with a moderate amount of carbonation. This is a phenominally balanced helles lager, even though the taste is less complex than I had hoped. Cheers!

Pouring a 2-year-old can. I was quite surprised. Plenty of fluffy head zero sediment in the glass. Clear golden yellow color. Smell is sweet slight corn bit of grainy sweetness and little to no hops in the nose. Taste is also pretty exceptional. I expected a bit of skunking for the age but I got a nice crisp grainy taste but all flavors have mostly been aged out. No real corn flavor I also almost expected a bit of sour apple but none of that either. Overall, for the dollar that I paid I think I got a pleasant enough lager to enjoy and I was very surprised it was able to hold up for so long and still be quite drinkable. Recommended!
