The appearance was a brown color with a finger’s worth of white foamy head that dissipated at a nice pace. Lenient lace lingers. The aroma blends some sweet to roasty chocolate malt to a decent nutty to caramel/toffee backbone. Just a touch of cereal to hit as it warms. The flavor tried to blend everything of the aromas together but that cereal part seems to never show up. It stays mainly sweet and the roasty part doesn’t show up so much. Nutty to caramel/toffee aftertaste and finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. ABV felt as projected. Roastiness seems barely there and the smoothness just takes over in the feel. Overall, nicely done brown ale for the most part. I could come back to this if offered.
