Reviewed on 6/30/2010. On tap at the brewpub. Pours black with a thick tan head. Aroma of roasted malt and diacetyl. Flavor of roasted malt, chalky bitter chocolate, and a hint of diacetyl (but not as much as the aroma). Well, it was a flawed beer but still drinkable.

poured black with a nice brown head. Aroma a lot of roasted malts and coffee, brown sugar and molasses, with just a hint of the hops. flavor, malt and the brown sugar come out first, than a slight bitter coffee, the hops were a little hard to pull out. This beer deteriorated in flavor as it warmed up so it lost a few points
