Appearance - Reddish, with a large bubbly head.
Smell - Strong and fruity.
Taste - Bitterness level almost too low to be called a bitter - in fact, this doesn't taste as bitter as Jarrah Jacks Pale Ale. Not quite as fruity as the nose suggests.
Mouthfeel - Carbonation and texture good, aftertaste a little disappointing.
Drinkability - Doesn't go down particularly quickly, like most bitters.
Overall - The low bitterness is odd, but this is still a fairly good beer overall.

Appearance - 4.0
A beautiful amber-brown colour, which looks very still and completely transparent. The head is off-white and a little creamy looking.
Smell - 4.0
Not the strongest aroma, but really nice. The prominent smell is of toffee, followed by hoppy bitterness and the tiniest hint of fruit.
Taste - 4.0
Really damn good considering the 3.7% ABV. The aftertaste is a little thin, but this is more than made up for by the smooth, mellow malt-toffee taste upfront, and the prominent but gentle bitterness afterwards. Slightly toasty.
Mouthfeel - 3.0
Definitely a bit on the watery side, and relatively flat. It suits this kind of beer, but definitely nothing special in this department.
Drinkability - 4.0
Considering the low alcohol, this is a very sessionable beer. The lacking mouthfeel and aftertaste may have one looking elsewhere after more than a couple of pints though.
OVERALL - 3.9
A fine session beer, and better than many full strength bitters. I am always impressed when brewers can make a good mid-strength, and this is no exception. Some may find the thin feel and aftertaste a turn-off, but otherwise this is a good drop. Value however, is poor, as it is priced well above most Australian full strength beers.

Another one from this south west Australian brewer. Slightly cloudy and amber brown in colour. Small tan coloured head that holds fairly well. Aroma of toffee and caramel malt. Taste adds some leafy hops and bitterness. Light to medium bodied. This one was OK.
