With deep thanks to MordeciaFunk for the massive 2L growler :)
Pours a lovely mango colour with great head and lacing.
Smell is massive amounts of mango. Smells like there's fresh mango in this. Faintest hint of malt.
Taste: again, just mango all over this.
Works if you like mango. The beery qualities are a little subdued.
Mouthfeel is fine; dry and highly carbed.
Overall very interesting. Enjoyable despite not conforming to conventional beer flavours.

On tap at the Sail and Anchor, Fremantle.
The second edition to Colonial's "Zymurgical Resurrection" project, re-discovering Old World brewing, and more specifically, the lost lowland beers of Germany.
A - Pours a pale reddish brown amber, capped by a dense white head and light rings of lacing.
S - Spicy cinnamon hits first, a very aromatic ale this one. Apple cake with a dollop of fresh cream. Beautiful sweet and spicy combination.
T - Follows on from the nose with stewed apples and cinnamon, but has a wild sour tartness to it also. Wheat is discernable. Low bitterness.
M - Moderate in body and carbonation. All sorts of activity on the pallette as sweet, sour and spice interplay.
O - Quite unusual and very tasty. Apparently the name means "Cutie Beer". A real step off the beaten track in the Australian scene and a thumbs up for Colonial from this drinker.
