We love hops so much that we loaded up our 6th Borough Pilsner with them. Dry hopped with Mosaic and Crystal hops, this bright, crisp, hoppy pilsner will transport you to the ‘burbs and leave you in a laid-back 6th Borough state of mind.

12 oz can. Clear. Smells of aggressive hops. Tropical fruit, some garlic. Light golden malt. Tastes of pilsner malt, kinda sweet. Tropical fruit hops with an aggressive grapefruit lingering bitterness. Aggressive hops and a mediocre malt profile. But it's ok.

Copenhagen 35.5 cl can from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. Very Black Black can with what looks like a golden plate on it with the name of the beer.

Pours unclear golden yellow with small white head. Settles as thin, almost transparent layer of foam just covering the surface of the beer. Moderate Lacing.

Aroma is medium intense and fruity sweet. Melon and pear. Weaker odor of pale sweet malts. Light citric notes.

Medium strong carbonation. Ti’hin, watery, lively texture.

Flavor is medium sweet followed by a stronger bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter. Lingers for a bit. Finish is semi-dry.

Fine, fairly well-balanced and crisp pilsner.

Not bad, but far from my idea of pilsner . Golden color, nice white head. Pine, citrus, and malt in aroma. Hoppy bitterness in taste with malty bitterness on the background. Probably too American

The pour is golden. The taste is floral, yellow bell pepper, citrus & earthy flavors on the back end. Cheers! B

A: clear golden yellow color with a rocky white head

S: crisp sweet malts, sweet citrus, fresh biscuits, grassy bitter hops. Crisp smelling

T: grass, herbal and noble hops with faint bitterness. Fresh dough and a pepper spice. A little bit of citrus and more doughy malts to close it out

M: light mouthfeel with high carbonation

O: an average Pilsner. It’s not as crisp in the flavor as some others, but the other notes are nice

Pours a semi-hazy golden color with a two-finger head, little lacing, hoppy smell, clean and crisp mouthfeel, hoppy Pilsner, very versatile for food pairings, a Very good Pilsner.

Canned 1/8/19

Slightly hazy with substantial, but quickly-dissipating white head.

Smell is bready, fruity (pear + apple juice) , and goldenrod flowers. (sweet floral hop aroma) Smells like a helles.

Taste is similar to aroma, but less sweet, + grapefruit pith, dried lemon rind, & light bitterness.

Feel is light ,with fine, medium carbonation, that provides soft tingle.

Overall, I like it but seems to be straddling too many lines, and doesn't seem to go anywhere. A good substitute, if a session IPA can't be had, but not what I would ordinarily want in a pils.
