Page says this beer is "retired", these fresh cans indicate it was a short "retirement"
Tall can, dating on the bottom is "9/13/17" - Fresh
"IPA brewed with saaz, mosaic, cascade and double dry hopped with simcoe, cascade, and citra lupulin powder"
The look here is a nice warm shade of lighter chestnut, moderate haze, and light khaki frothy head, leaving great looking webs and fine bubble sheets of lacing. Nice looking brew.
Sniff reveals fruity hops, and nutty malts...yum
On the palate I get notes of again nutty malts, toasted bread, oats, and some tropical hoppy notes...delicious,earthy, warming, complex, interesting and different. Well done and well worth trying
Overall, I love this beer...tastes like it would go great with hearty food, like Thanksgiving dinner for example.
Love Scott and the entire Capt. L crew and also love all the good people at DeCicco's, especially Chris and Joe and salute them for all they have done for the beer scene in my neck of the woods....

Pours a hazy yellow gold with a finger of head that settles to a collar with some sticky lacing. Heavy orange zest aroma. Taste follows nose with a bit of dankness at the end.
