Highly translucent pale amber, strong piney scent, a bit musky. Taste is pungent, piney, resiny. Very subtle notes of citrus, orange and grapefruit. Very light, smooth, and easy drinking. I might not go for Lupulin again, a little bit lightbodied for my tastes.

Do you want some beer to go with that foam?
I drank this after letting it cool in the freezer for only half an hour.
Pours a cloudy, pale orange with an extremely generous head (foam quickly bubbled up and spilled over and I only had poured out about a 1/4 of the can at this point) that dissipates quickly. Left mild lacing, which was surprising considering the amount of foam.
Smell: citrusy, orange, and sweet. Apricot, with a little candied pineapple or candied orange peel.
Taste: very juicy, a little too sweet for my taste, but full of flavor. Hop flavors simulate citrus and tropical fruits to the point where you almost forget that they are hops and not actual fruit. Nice bitter aftertaste that you'd expect in a NEIPA.
A nice and unique IPA. Could tone down some of the sweetness - reminded me of candied orange peels, which made it very drinkable, almost like juice, but not what I'm looking for in an IPA. Worth trying, and one I would definitely try again, but not one I would want to drink regularly. However, if you like your NEIPAs a little on the sweeter side, and like a lot of flavor, then I definitely recommend this one.

Can: Poured a hazy/cloudy bright yellow color ale with a nice large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of juicy hops notes with some light tropical notes. Taste is a nice mix of juicy hops notes, huge dank and floral undertones notes with some citrusy and tropical notes. Body is full with good carbonation. World-class NEIPA.

Murky dark gold, close to opaque, under a finger or two of white frothy foam... I got a big impression of berry up front, which then developed cleaner citrus flavors like orange, pineapple, and grapefruit with some fleshier topical fruit notes beneath... Smooth and soft, very mild on the bitterness front, moderate on the sweetness front; has something of a mild dank, pine accent on the finish... 12/3/18 canning...

Canned on 12/4 and already in Wegmans in Pennsylvania two weeks later. Cracked open the 16 oz can and enjoyed the wonderful citrus-hopped aroma. First taste was a little thin and strawlike but improved throughout. As I get farther in I can taste the malt and am finding this to be very enjoyable. Very smooth and easy to drink. Captain Lawrence knows what it’s doing. Pricing is the only thing that keeps me from buying more. Ask Santa for a four-pack and enjoy the holidays.
