Originally, Saisons were brewed in Belgium for the farm workers to enjoy after a long day in the field; and while we’re not working in the fields all day we are thirsty! The recipe for this beer was formulated with input from the entire CLBC brew crew, fermented with a traditional Belgian yeast strain, and dry hopped with US grown hops. Straight from the Captain’s cellar to yours, we hope you enjoy!

Poured a clear golden body with spicy peppery aroma. Smooth, good yeast presence, easy to drink, tropical fruit sweetness is good with a light, crisp finish. Little bit of funkiness lets you know you're drinking a saison but real mild.

On tap hazy golden with white lasting head. Heavy lacing. Dry grassy aroma bright on the tongue with mild hop finish

From tasting notes. Starts with a snort of sour and waves of over ripe fruit. It pours hazy gold with a very fluffy 3” rocky white lacy head that slowly dissipates. Has a crisp, tart, dry lemony palate backed by over ripe fruit and a little barnyard funk and light malts in the background. Luscious creamy mouthfeel from foamy carbonation. Light and refreshing.
