Belgian golden ale brewed with mango purée. Lucky me. Served at the brewery.
A. Pours a light copper gold with decent head that quickly fades. Faint lacing on the glass.
S. Fantastic and easily the best part about this beer. Ripe apples, grape skin, banana, and mango. Wow the purée adds a lot here. Smells like a mango banana smoothie. Mmmm.
T. Traditional golden ale notes of apple, pear, and biscuit. But a nice sweet kick from the mango which softens the dry finish.
M. As expected. Moderately carbed and well balanced.
O. Quite good. An interesting offering that really works. It is especially refreshing on this hot summer day.
