Tasted by half pint at the Wenlock Arms (05/01/06).
A: clear, amber to tawny hue, with very thin white cap.
S: mildly toffeeish, backed by a firm body of earthy and lightly floral hops (Goldings like), with a citrussy twist.
T: fruitiness-dominated palate, with a little bit of chewy fruits and a residual toffeeish flavour treading lightly on the top; gradually an immensely tea-leafy bitterness prevails and lingers, added by a tangy touch to accompany another faint tinge of bitter-sour fruits in the aftertaste.
M&D: soft on the mouthfeel and very light-bodied for its alc. strength. A good honest ale from this newly-established micro-brewery.
