I was reluctant to try this brew, because the beer store had an overstock of it. Since I am a BA though, I figured that it couldn't be all that bad and I have had some pretty nasty beer, so it couldn't be that bad. Well, to my suprise, it was actually fairly decent. It's appearance was the big part of the beer. The head was the thickest I have ever seen and lasted the whole drink. That is a big plus in my book. The smell was of faint blueberries, a little citrus, and some wheat. The taste was similar to the smell, but had more in the area of blueberries, but not too much so that it would over sweeten the brew. That, to me, is shear magic. It was really creamy and was silky on the throat. Overall a great brew, especially at $3.50 a 6pack.

Pours a hazy, butterscotch amber with a generous white head that has good retention and leaves behind some minimal lacing. Aroma of fresh blueberries dominates the nose, with a background of caramel-wheat, and a touch of fruity hops. Mouthfeel is a bit thick and highly carbonated. Taste is balanced on a nice wheat malt profile, with a milder blueberry flavor, and biscuity yeast. Very well balanced in the flavor department. I didn't have high expectations for this one, but came away pleasantly surprised. It's very drinkable for the style and leaves a clean aftertaste.

A hazy, yellow-gold body is topped by a large head of bright white foam that holds exceptionally well, keeping a half inch head throughout the glass, yet it seems unable to leave much more than the occassional splotch of sticky lace. The nose is distinctly blueberry with a touch of spice and some mild wheat malt character. It's medium bodied and crisp in the mouth with a fine, slightly elevated carbonation. The flavor is as might be expected with a subtle blueberry flavor amidst its lightly sweet wheat malt. A touch of yeasty spiciness lends balance and leads to a dry finish. Well-balanced and not overdone with fruit flavor. Very nice!

Light straw yellow with a pillowy white head and active carbonation. Nice blueberry fruit aroma. Light blueberry taste; a bit tart for me as I don't really care for blueberries much. Light bodied and airy; a bit overcarbonated (maybe due to age).

Pours a nice pale golden yellow with a nice white head. Nice blueberry aroma that mingles nicely with some subtle wheat smells. The taste is a nice wheat/yeast flavor that has a subtle sweet blueberry background. The beer has a nice dry mouthfeel and it quenches the thirst well. This beer will work well for the summer. I was very surprised with this beer. Not too fruity or sweet. A nice brew overall.
