Presentation: On cask.
Appearance: Rich copperish amber with a very frothy off white head that retains very well ... there is a very slight haze to this brew.
Smell: Soft floral hop, some fruitiness that has some hints of ripe pears and peaches. Light malt sweetness and a touch of grain also in the nose.
Taste: Very smooth with a bready malt flavour, mild caramel and under-tones of fruit and a unique yet subtle biscuit/nut malt taste make for a complex brew. Hop bitterness is very balanced for the style and add a touch of flavour also.
Notes: Very rich and complex with lots of character for such a small beer, yet a little on the thin side to make for an easy drinking ale. A true session ale here. 3.0% abv.
