Presentation: On cask.

Appearance: Copper hued with a bit of haze due to the generous use of hops. A very bubbly semi-rocky lace adorns the top.

Smell: Sweet and fragrant of mild esters and fruit (pears and apples), some malt sweetness (sweet bread) and a clean hop aroma.

Taste: A quick shot of sweetness (ripe fruit and malt) up front. Smooth mouthfeel then the sweetness is cut by an assertive mildly pungent hop bitterness and a warming alcohol. Hop linger for a while with a drying after taste.

Notes: Oh baby! This is one tasty beer ... a classic among the Bostonians.
