Presentation: On cask.
Appearance: Dark brown with reddish hues around the edges of the pint. A creamy tan head sits on top.
Smell: Some fruity aromas meet up with hints of floral-spice hop and a touch of chocolate.
Taste: Smooth and creamy with an up front watery tea-like hop flavour. Malt makes its presence, light in body but full in character, with notes of grain, yeast, nuttiness and a touch of fine chocolate which finishes quite clean.
Notes: Probably the only cask brown ale and perhaps the best brown ale in MA. A great session ale.
