Had on tap at the brewery. This batch is brewed with Equinox hops. L: Pours gold with a slight orange tint. It has a light chill haze and sits under a 1” cream colored, lacy foam collar. S: Has a citrusy, herbal nose. T: A rich malt beginning gives way to a citrusy, herbal hop bitterness. F: Fairly dry with medium body and carbonation. O: Very well balanced and drinkable.

On tap at Surly’s Beer Hall. 10 oz. serving in a chalice.
Appearance: Color is a bright amber orange. Moderate amount of bubbles and about one finger of white head that settles into a thin patchy layer. Lots of lacing.
Smell: A very juicy and dank hop driven aroma with a big scent of citrus and pine. Big upfront blast of fruit with citrus hints of orange, grapefruit, mango, lemon zest, apricot, and melon. Also some hints of apple and peach. Big dank scent of pine resin along with some grass. Backing malt hints of grains, caramel ,and yeast. A very good hoppy aroma.
Taste: Lives up to the aroma, a dank and very juicy hop forward taste with notes of citrus fruit and pine. Upfront taste of ripe and juicy citrus with notes of grapefruit, orange peel, mango, melon, apricot, and lemon. Also some apple and peach notes. Big presence of pine resin along with some grassy and floral hop notes. Hops are pretty sharp and bitter. Background malt notes of caramel, grains, and yeast. A really good taste.
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with a moderate amount of carbonation. Very juicy and drying with minimal alcohol heat.
Overall: Another great IPA from Surly. Big in your face hops with lots of fruit and pine flavor.
