Pale golden yellow. Hazy for a pils. White head with lace.
Grassy and earthy. Clean. Biscuity malts.
Crisp and clean. Light bodied. Easy to drink. Nice hoppy bitterness.

On tap at brew hall. Pretty bitter, spicy and dry Pilsner. The hops have a little melon along with typical noble hop characteristics. Body is fuller than many Pilsners but very crisp. I probably like this a little more than Hell.

I'm not usually a huge Pilsner fan but this was quite unique. Smooth and crisp with after taste of melons and blueberries. Refreshing beer that I would drink as a session beer.

On tap at Surly’s Beer Hall. Served in a 16 oz. chalice.
Appearance: Color is a pale yellowish orange. Moderate amount of bubbles and a big two finger white head with decent retention.
Smell: A crisp, juicy, and bready smell with good hints of citrus fruit, cracker, and grains. Nice upfront scent of citrus fruit with hints of melon, orange, and lemon zest. Spicy and floral hop hints as well. Pale malt with hints of grains, cracker, biscuit, and lager yeast. A pretty solid aroma.
Taste: Like it smells, a juicy, crisp, and bready taste with notes of citrus fruit, grains, and cracker. Solid upfront presence of citrus hop notes including some melon, orange, and lemon zest. Some earthy, floral, and spicy hop notes. Hop bitterness is pretty light. Pale malt with bready notes of cracker, grains, biscuit, and lager yeast. A pretty good taste.
Mouthfeel: Light to medium bodied with a moderate level of carbonation. Crisp, clean, smooth, and juicy.
Overall: Another good version of this light lager. Really nice burst of melon fruit flavor.

Unfortunately my server recommended a lighter beer with my lamb sausage dish, which totally overpowered this crisp, delicate pilsner. Still, I was able to appreciate somewhat the subtle maltiness and floral hops. Great sudsy mouthfeel, and excellent head retention to the last drop.
