had ton tap at beer hall

Appearance was crystal clear yellow and perfect white head. Great lacing. Aroma is a little wheat and tart, the taste follows, great tartness and that great gose saltiness, the beer has great body and doesn't feel watery like many Goses do. Overall one of the most flavorful and best examples of the style that I've had.

On tap at Surly’s Beer Hall. Served in a 16 oz. chalice.

Appearance: Color is a clear golden orange. Moderate amount of bubbles and a solid finger of white head which settles into a thin creamy layer.

Smell: A crisp and tart sour aroma with a scent of grains and salt. Upfront acidic and tart scent. Wheat grains with some hints of straw, cracker, and yeast. Nice hints of sea salt. Some mild spice hints as well. A pretty solid smell.

Taste: Like the nose hints at, a tart and crisp sour taste with notes of grains and salt. Upfront tart and sour taste with some lactic acid. Wheat grains with some crisp notes of cracker, straw, and yeast. Solid notes of sea salt. Some coriander notes. Pretty nice taste.

Mouthfeel: Light bodied with a moderate level of carbonation. Crisp, tangy, and pretty drying.

Overall: A good take on a Gose. Nice balance of tartness and salt.
