This beer pours a nice dark amber color. There's a thick, frothy head to it. No nose. The taste is fairly smooth. It is also fairly mellow. There's a bit of maltiness to it.

Tasted in a 16 oz pint glass from draught at Firkin on March 16, 2016. Super smooth feel. Very dark red brown color with a thick tan head. Smokey roasted malt aromas and flavors.

Creamy nitro head. Lace. Caramel brown color.
This version of mild seems to be more roasted than regular mild. Otherwise it is solid. Malty with some sweetness. Nice creamy feel to it.

On nitro tap at Surly’s Beer Hall. Served in a 16 oz. chalice.
Appearance: Color is a dark blackish brown. Lots of bubbles and a big three finger off white head with good retention.
Smell: A toasty and bready malt forward aroma with a scent of biscuit, caramel, and toffee. Toasted malt with a mild scent of toast, biscuit, toffee, caramel, and chocolate with some yeast. Mild hints of a rye like spicing along with some brown sugar hints. Subtle earthy and floral hops. A solid aroma.
Taste: Like it smells, a nicely toasty, bready, and creamy malt forward taste with notes of biscuit, toffee, and caramel. Toasted malt with notes of biscuit, toffee, caramel, toasted bread, and subtle chocolate along with some English yest. Subtle notes of rye. Sweet notes of cream and brown sugar. Light notes of floral and earthy hops. A pretty solid taste.
Mouthfeel: Light to medium bodied with a high level of carbonation. Very creamy, silky, and smooth.
Overall: A pretty solid nitro version of Mild. Lots of creamyness is added to the toasty malt flavor as expected.
