On tap at the Triple Rock Social Club. 16 oz. serving in a shaker glass.

Appearance: Pours a hazy blackish brown with a moderate amount of bubbles. Slight finger of beige head that settles into a thin creamy layer.

Smell: A toasty and fruity wheat driven aroma with a scent of roast and fruit. Hefewiezen yeast with a scent of clove spicing. Toasted malt with a scent of wheat, toast, grains, cracker, and smoke. Fruit scent of banana with slight citrus. Also some bubblegum. Light hints of earthy hops. A pretty nice aroma.

Taste: Like it smells, a toasty and fruity wheat driven taste with notes of roast and dried fruit. Upfront Hefeweizen yeast with some clove. Toasted malt with notes of wheat, toast, smoke, grains, and cracker. Hefe style taste of dried banana and bubblegum. Slight notes of citrus along with some earthy hop bitterness. A pretty solid taste.

Mouthfeel: Light to medium bodied with a moderate amount of carbonation. Creamy and very smooth.

Overall: A pretty good twist on a Hefewiezen. Nice balance of burnt malt notes with the German yeast banana and clove flavor.
