Thanks to Jeff for this one. 16oz. can into a Surly teku. Shared with schen9303.
Nose is resin, sap and a touch of papaya and mango. Solid. Beer opens bark, grass and tree sap. A resin-y bitterness in the middle mixed with notes of tea and citrus. I'm not a huge fan of the sap and resin presence but here, they're missing the characteristic sweetness that I don't like. It's nice. Light bodied with moderate to high carbonation. Prickly, lively and super quenching in the mouth. So f*ing drinkable! Having this in the summer, I can't get enough!
Judging from the nose, I didn't think I'd like this. However, the flavor and drinkablility have really put this over the top. An excellent summer beer that's definitely worth trying.

From a 16oz can, plastic wrap label.
Appearance: Clear gold, good head.
Smell: Slight citrus and tea.
Taste: Little bit of citrus, mild breadiness in the body, and finishes with a little lemon tea.
Overall: Surly made this for a music festival in Wisconsin, the cans turned up in stores a few weeks afterward. It doesn't appear to be on their website. It seems to be somewhere between an APA or English pale ale. Well balanced but pretty bland to my taste buds.

16oz can, dated 4/25/2016. Served in a snifter glass.
Pours a medium caramel orange body, two finger white head, appropriate retention, bits of lacing. Smells of grainy pale malt, touch of caramel sweetness, a bit of tropical fruit and citrus zest. On the balanced side. Flavour is similarly balanced with cereal sweetness, a bit of caramel, with a bit of tropical fruit and citrus hop aromas. It's balanced, very drinkable, plenty of flavour. Mouthfeel is lighter medium bodied, good carbonation, very refreshing and drinkable. Overall, a solid APA with a nice balance to it, and very drinkable in this weather.

White head. Golden orange color.
Citrus flavors and some herbal and earthiness. Bready malts.
Light bitterness. Lighter bodied.
Plain and simple beer. Nothing too special here.

Poured from a 16 oz. can into a Surly chalice.
Appearance: Pours a bright amber orange with a moderate amount of bubbles. Big two finger of white head which slowly settles into a thin patchy layer.
Smell: A juicy and earthy hop forward aroma with a scent of citrus and pine. Citrus hop hints of orange peel, grapefruit, tangerine, melon, and lemon. Earthy hints of pine. Malt hints of caramel, grains, and cracker with some yeast. A pretty solid aroma.
Taste: Like the smell indicates, a juicy and earthy hop forward taste with notes of citrus and pine. Juicy citrus hop notes of orange peel, grapefruit, melon, tangerine, and lemon. Earthy hop notes of pine and grass. Backing pale malt notes of caramel, grains, and cracker along with yeast. A pretty nice taste.
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with a moderate amount of carbonation. Juicy and very smooth.
Overall: Another good Pale Ale from Surly. Nice juicy citrus flavor with a smooth body.
