Dampfbier on nitro. That's interesting. The nitro turns a normally Big bubbled head into a tight little package. Still has plenty of aromatic banana and clove character to balance a sweet wheat maltiness. Nice creamy body with a clean finish. Very pound able brew.

On nitro tap at Surly’s Beer Hall. Served in a 16 oz. chalice.
Appearance: Color is a hazy golden orange. Lots of rising bubbles and a big off white head with decent retention.
Smell: A yeasty and fruity aroma with a scent of banana and clove. Upfront scent of hefeweizen yeast with clove. Malt scent of grains, wheat, and cracker. Fruit hints of banana along with some citrus hop hints of orange and tangerine. A pretty nice aroma.
Taste: Like the nose leads, a yeasty and fruity German style taste with notes of clove and banana. Big presence of hefeweizen yeast with notes of clove spicing. Bready malt notes of wheat, grains, and cracker. Notes of dried banana along with citrus hop notes of orange and tangerine. A very solid taste.
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with a fairly high level of carbonation. Creamy and very smooth.
Overall: A very good nitro take on a German style wheat brew. Good clove and fruit notes.
