Red wine and high west barrels.
On tap. Copper color. Sour and tarts. Lots of lemon, red wine, oak, vanilla, dark fruits, currants, tannins, whiskey. A definite interesting blend of flavors but it works pretty well. I had doubts about this but I liked it.

Had a cellared bottle. Dark ruby brown body with no head. Really takes on the whiskey barre more than the red wine, but both are present. Aromas whiskey, rye, cherry, wood, red wine, plum and brett. Taste is pretty much as advertised, though the sour oak leads a bit more. Whiskey elements really capture the dark fruits, funk, and some earth tones well. Funk is stronger than expected, pleasant and gives depth. Feel is light for a dba, but the funk and sour push through to the finish, giving depth to the feel.
