Had this on tap at the brewery.
A: Pours a slightly hazy, golden orange color with a one inch, foamy white head with short retention. Thin white lacing throughout.
S: Big notes of citrus and tropical fruits including orange, tangerine, pineapple, mango, and guava. Sweet malts and very mild hints of pine.
T: Taste matches the aromas well. Very fruity. Leads with citrus flavors of grapefruit, orange, and tangerine followed by pineapple, mango, papaya, and guava. Mild lingering piney and resinous hop bitterness.
F: Light to Medium bodied. Moderate amount of carbonation. Smooth and crisp. Somewhat dry.
O: Overall, I thought this was a good DIPA and enjoyed it. It was fruity and somewhat juicy, but not overly sweet. This was balanced well with a dry, mild hoppy bitterness on the finish. Very drinkable. Certainly not my favorite hoppy brew from Surly, but definitely a good brew and worth trying.

Clear orange colour. Mango and tropical fruit notes, piney hops, and sweet fruity malt. Sweet mango, pineapple and passionfruit, then a heavy swell of piney resiny hops, a bitter lingering finish.
