Slightly hazy, bright golden hued, slim white head, leaving lace. Quite nice.
In the nose: Citrus explosion. Zest is king here, hops are second fiddle. Fruity as you get. (Within reason, naturally.)
In the mouth: Boom! Zest and hops hit together! Oof! Pow! Blam! Blaze of bitterness blasts the palate, with the juicy fruit keeping time behind. Bright, fresh and lovely. Light-ish bodied, easy-drinking. You can toss back one after another.
Go ahead and drink it.

Zest Crazed pours a lighter copper color, with a big, long lasting and lacing head. Mellow aroma, but hints of real and fresh grapefruit and lemon. Flavor is mellow, hints of hops, with a small bitterness, and hints of grapefruit and lemon to blend in nicely. Just a little flat. Overall, a lighter beer, with lighter flavors, but still full body, good flavors, it all comes together, and not overpowering.

Tasted in a Spiegelau IPA glass from a one pint can on July 3, 2018. Bright hop aromatics and grapefruit and lemon zest combine in our citrus-heavy take on the American pale ale.

The aroma is citrus in general with hits of grapefruit and less of lemon. At least at first. In both the aroma and especially the flavor the lemon grows as the drink warms. Never too much.
Heavy haze to cloudy. Semi-dense off white cap with good lacing. Dirty gold body.
Nice complex citrus flavors from the start. Also big enough malt taste and feel to remind you it's an APA. Bittering leaves a nice lingering trail that fades nicely. In taste the lemon is just as strong as the grapefruit from the get go. Ample drying on the finish. Almost become "fruity" in presentation and maybe crosses that line some. But I think the blend is good overall. I'd like to try when it's hot out, but the weather at this time is not cooperating.

Too bad this is a 'Small Batch', it is really good.

Pours a slightly hazy burnt orange with a quickly dissipating white head. Smells lightly citrus-y and slightly hop forward, nothing super overbearing. Taste is grapefruit bitterness, citrus, and a tame floral hop profile with a bitter finish. Enough malt to remind you it's an APA. Smooth, medium bodied, medium carbonation. Easy drinking and a nice pale ale all around.
