poured into a taster glass via draft at Other Half's Pastry Town (3/16/2019)
color is a jet black
smell is sweet maple syrup and cinnamon, small traces of caramel and Vanilla
taste is a blast of maple and coffee up front with some brown sugar..very sweet
low carbonation

Had on tap. Yummy maple stout here. Pour black with plenty of toffee brown foam. The robust RIS body served as the solid for the maple to entreat, with dark chocolate, slight earthiness, coffee, and fried fruit supporting. Lots of maple and maybe it is the power of suggestion, but I could swear there is a tick more yeast in here for the style, especially in the smell. Still missing the complexity or maple purity to make it one of the best, but very scrumptious.
