Diggity...this one’s on point for the Surly profile. At the brewhall into a snifter, pours a chilled apricot, very slightly cloudy, decent head and great lacing. Nose is big and fruity/hoppy — some fresh mango, some lemon peel, some orange blossom, some passion fruit...and also a little hint of honey and pepper that plays really well with the tropical fruit notes. Taste carries it all forward, bringing the peppery zesty liveliness and sweet honeyed fruit out a little more. Feel is in between hoppy agitation and hazy softness, dries out at the end. Packs a bit of a punch. This is pretty good and a little unique.

White head. Lace. Not really hazy. Golden color.
Tropical and juicy. Mango, papaya. Earthy hops. A bit zesty with some orange. Medium bodied. Ends pretty clean. Fairly soft.
