I’m a sucker for rye, and this is pretty good but nothing to write home about. At the brew hall into a tulip, pours a clear golden amber with a decent head and retention/lacing. Nose is bready and caramel, with some peppery rye and some faint round citrus. Taste carries the nose forward, and though they say the hop bill is Mosaic and Lotus, I’m betting I wouldn’t guess that blind. feel is moderate to heavy for the abv, with a lively peppery spritz on the finish.
