Pours a hazed & effervescent gold with 1 finger of eggshell colored head. Some lacing & head retention
S: Green melon, peach
T: Follows the nose, picking up some strawberry, grassyness & dryness as well up front. More green melon, a touch of breadyness as this warms. Finishes a little dry with a kiss of pineapple and green melon
MF: Medium body, slight carbonation, pretty good balance
Drinks alright, but was expecting more from this, to be fair this is 5 months old almost. So I will use this rating as a place holder

Poured with almost no head, tangarine in color, and as advertised, hazy for sure. Bought just one yesterday at my Total Wine here in Daytona Beach to try because I like the brewery. Certainly would purchase more. Very nice brew, little bitterish would be my only complaint.

Appearance: Pours a mostly hazy (~75% opaque), pale yellow color with a moderate white head. SRM of 6-7. (3.75)
Aroma: Moderate to strong aromas of grapefruit, lemon/orange citrus peel, bitter pineapple, some white and astringent stonefruit. Some herbs and pine mixed with the grapefruit pith on the end.Citrusy. 4.00)
Flavor: Moderate flavors upfront of grapefruit juice, lemon citrus, citrus peel, bitter pineapple, white stonefruit, with some sweet lychee, pear, sweetness before a herbal and pithy finish. Juicy, but pithy and somewhat bitter. Mostly Citrus. (4.25)
Feel: Medium-bodied. Low to moderate carbonation. Finish is citrus and astringent, but with a watery finish. (4.00)
Compared to Toppling Goliath's King Sue 10/31/21: Pours slightly less hazy, similar color, milder head. Milder aromas. More grapefruit, white stonefruit, herbs/pine. Less orange, juicy pineapple, mango. Less juicy. More herbal/pine bitterness. Winner: King Sue
Compared to Inbound Hazy Shades IPA 12/19/21: Pours a lighter and hazier color with a milder head. Stronger aromas. More lemon/grapefruit citrus, citrus peel, pineapple, and pear/lychee. Less orange juice and peach.
Compared to Surly Castles in the Sky 2/27/22: Pours a lighter and hazier color. Larger head and aromas. More lemon/lime/orange citrus and pine notes. Less tangerine, tropical valencia orange and melon. Juicier and hazier.
Overall: A grapefruit pith and astrigently juicy IPA. More bitter and herbal than expected. I think the ratings on here are fairly accurate. Read between the lines here. A $4 a pop NEIPA, but the BeerAdvocate ratings are only "fairly good". Might seem like a good rating, but any comparable $4 NEIPA would be rated above 90 on here. For good reason, because this one isn't necessarily a juicy IPA. I would give it a "very good" IPA, but for BeerAdvocate standards of a NEIPA this was not a favorite NEIPA. (Old Rating: 3.75)
Edit 2/27/22: On a further review I found this one much more citrusy and piney along with a hazy Citra IPA. Much improved from the first few reviews. (New Rating: 4.09) *Would compare again to King Sue or strong Citra NEIPA*

I got a can of this beer off the single shelf from a beer store in LaCrosse, Wisconsin. It poured a hazy golden with very thin white ring head that is not leaving any lace. The scent had tropical fruit peel notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with bright citrus presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a solid beer.

Mapping the Multiverse from Surly Brewing. Purchased on 5 Aug 21 from Franklin Beer, Franklin, PA. $ 5.00 (Including tax) per 16 oz can ($0.313 /oz). In the reefer at the store, stored at home at 42 degrees. Reviewed 16/8/21. Note that I use DD/MM/YY protocol.
Stamped on bottom of can “CANNED ON 04/22/2021”. Served at 44.6 degrees in a hand washed and dried Jester King snifter. Final temperature 52.7 degrees.
Appearance – 3.
First pour – Straw (SRM 3), hazy.
Body – Straw (SRM 3), hazy and opaque. When rear-lite, same.
Head – Large (Maximum 5.3 cm, aggressive center pour), anti-flash white, medium density but quickly diminishing to an undulating three to four mm crown and a thin complete cap. Second pour produces a 0.6 cm head.
Lacing – None, except for a couple of tiny islands hanging on the glass.
Aroma – 3 – Weak generic tropical fruits, no malt, no yeast.
Flavor – 3 – Begins moderately sweet and follows the nose. No malt, no yeast. Almost refreshing. Ends slightly bitter with a bit of resin. No ethanol (7.3 % ABV, as marked on container) taste or aroma. No gastric warming initially, but eventually warms. No dimethylsulfide or diacetyl.
Palate – 3 – Medium, approaching creamy, soft carbonation.
Final impression and summation: 3 Ho-hum. Another NEIPA. Sorry Surly, I was expecting better, not just another overpriced (but easy drinking) NEIPA.

This is a solid beer but no an exciting beer.
Poured from a can recently purchased. The canned date is almost exactly three months ago.
Hazy bright yellow color with decent initial white head and good lacing. Pleasant citrus smell and taste, mostly orange and tangerine with a bit of pear and mango. Good smooth feel. I would like to try fresh from tap.

Poured into a 13 oz Nordic pint glass canned on 6/02/21. Pours a hazy yellow with a half finger white head that leaves some thin streaks of lace with solid retention. 4
Aroma is peach, mango, papaya, tangerine, and apricot. 4
Taste follows peach, mango, papaya, tangerine, and apricot really well balanced with very low bitterness. 4
Mouthfeel is above average, maybe a little sticky but not dry, fairly soft carbonation, and at 7.3% very easy drinking. 4
Overall this is good, I would definitely say it is worth a shot. 4
