16oz can - review from notes

This one was mostly memorable for the 9% alcohol, it was heavy on the malt, like a torpedo SNIPA but with more heft... disappointing

Not much to say about this a pretty great DIPA smooth, sweet, earthy and with a crisp finish I mostly focus on ABV notes and it really didn't taste or feel 9%. Great beer with some kick ass cover art

Give the Devil His Due pours a clean bronze color, with a small, but long lasting, lacing head. Aroma is earthy and floral. Flavor is earthy, floral, and finish with a big sweetness. Good body and feel. Overall, a flavorful IPA, that seems to be sweeter, but still has some notable hop flavors.

Pours a copper color with almost a finger of head. The nose is earthy. The flavor has a sweet melon essence upfront with no describable bitterness on the back end.

Dark copper colored with excellent clarity. There’s a solid inch of creamy beige on top. The aroma is of vegetal to piney hops. I’m tasting vegetal to earthy hops and some melon with a solid malt backbone. The mouth is very dry and crisp.

Pours an almost clear copper color with a small head and some lacing.

Smells of piney resinous hops from a just opened can. Smells lightly of citrus in the glass.

Tastes of citrus, pineapple and mango with a slightly bitter finish. The alcohol hides well.

Medium body and carbonation. Watery mouthfeel.

This is a decently drinkable , mild mannered but powerful brew. Folks who don't like hop or fruit bomb IPA's should get along with this one.

Pours a dark orange with a fluffy but quickly subsiding head. Decent lacing. Rather clear and very very bubbly.

Lots of melon and mango on the nose with a bit of grapefruit. Then a touch of pine and grass.

Sweet melon on the tip of the tongue. Mango, nectarine, honey and crackery after that. Then some unexpectedly stout resiny hop flavor, and that's fine. But the booze is a little warm in this one.

A medium full bodied brew that has just enough drying carbonation to keep it in line.

It's pretty darn good, but a bit too much booze on this one.
