BREWED FOR A EUROPEAN VACATION
Italian pilsners differ from their German cousins thanks to a pop of dry-hopped flavor, adding a little bit of swagger to an otherwise reserved style. Classic Saaz hops make this “breathtaking” Italian pils sunny, bright, and lemony.

Canned 7/6/22; drank 10/23/22 @ the Yarchives.
See-through dull orange/yellow appearance.
A rough pour yielded a big, noisy off-white head; decent lace.
Pine, lemon & faint bread notes in the nose.
Medium thin mouthfeel.
Pine & lemon flavors up front; faint bread notes on the finish.
Simple and refreshing. A nice pilsner.

Clear, yellow, foamy - commercial beer. Smells like bread dough and lemongrass. Taste is more sweet dough with some caramel and floral hops. Easy drinking

Appearance: Pours a clear, light golden color with a strong white head. SRM of 7. (4.00)
Aroma: Moderate aromas of pale malts, biscuit malt, a slight orange citrus and spice aromas. Slightly buttery and sweet.
Flavor: Moderate flavors of pale malts, lemon biscuit malt, a lemon citrus with a slight flower note in the middle. A smooth and slightly sweet bready flavor in the body.
Feel: Medium to heavier bodied. Average carbonation. Slightly buttery bread sweetness lingers off the palate. (3.50)
Compared to Fair State Pils 8/19/22: Pours a similar appearance. Milder aromas. More orange citrus, bread. less lemonflower, grassy, bitter yeast. Sweeter.
Compared to Surly Hell 8/21/22: Pours a darker color, milder aromas. More orange citrus/spice. Less lemonflower and grains. Less yeast. Less flavorful overall.
Compared to Hinterland Packerland Pils 8/31/22: 8/31/22: Pours a slightly darker color, stronger head. More bready aromas. A more pilsner malt/hop flavor and less yeast and grains. Similar fruitiness and Belgian spice on the flavor. A heavier, hoppier, sweeter body. Overall, similar.
Compared to Third Space The Maestro 3/2023: Pours similar, milder aromas. More soapy grains and yeast. Less lemon citrus and hops.
Overall: A flavorful German Pils. Leans slightly more bready with citrus notes that I would have expected. Almost an orange citrus and spice quality giving hints of a Belgian quality to it, yet not all the way there. Slightly sweet and heavier as well. Honestly pretty average for a Pils. Not really getting a lot of hops and and nothing to impressive. (Rating: 3.74)

12oz can. Poured out a crystal clear, straw-yellow color with a small, white head of foam. It left sudsy trails of lace on the glass. It smelled of floral notes, toffee, caramel and some citrus. It tasted of sweet caramel and a crisp, snappy bitterness.

Italian pilsner on draft. White head. Lace. Clear straw gold.
Earthy, grassy, zesty, crisp, clean, bready, biscuity. Very true to style. Reminds me of drinking in Europe. Very well done.
