It pours hazy orange with an off white head. It has tropical fruits with some spice to it. There are some pine and resin elements in the background.

On tap at Whistle Binkies in Rochester. Pours a darker gold colour with a very thin head. Taste is citrus, some dank, but very delicious. Enjoy it responsibly!

Cloudy yellow/orange color with a moderate off white head and some nice foamy lacing.
The aroma is orange with some hints of pineapple and other tropical fruit with a touch of pine. The taste is, again sweet orange with notes of passion fruit, mango, honeydew melon and pineapple. The finish is dry with lingering pine resin and grapefruit.
The body is medium, carbonation is moderate or higher, slightly sticky but still fairly smooth and very drinkable.
Altogether, this is a really nice juicy IPA, tasty, refreshing and almost too drinkable for an ABV this high, take your time and enjoy.

Canned 2/22/23 (1 month ago)
Appearance: Pours a nearly completley hazy, mostly opaque (10% clarity) deep and medium orange color with a strong white head. SRM of 8-9. (4.00)
Aroma: Strong aromas of oranges, sweet orange flower and pineapple. Some hints of mango and melon underneath.
Flavor: Strong and juicy flavors of fresh oranges, sweet orange flower and passionfruit. Then some pineapple with some mango skin underneath. Juicy with a light OJ and grapefruit juice bite off the end.
Feel: Medium to heavier bodied, decent carbonation. Juicy with some lingering OJ bitterness. Not very soft.
Overall: A nice imperial hazy IPA from Surly here. Strong fresh orange and OJ flavors from the Citra. Some passionfruit and pineapple. Even some mango notes underneath from the Strata. Grapefruit juice and bitter OJ bite off the end. Leans juicy. Not very soft though as could use a bit more malts to soften it out a bit. Nice flavors and hop variety though. (Rating: 4.08-)

16oz can. Poured out a cloudy, golden orange color with a small, off-white head of bubbly foam. It left sudsy trials of lace on the glass. It smelled of grapefruit, orange, pine and sweet caramel/toffee. Sweet citrus taste with toasted caramel and a piney bitterness.
