Poured from 750 mL bottle into snifter.
A: Pours an extremely dark and murky brown hue with 1 inch dark mocha head that gradually settles to a thin skim.
S: Rice milk and creamy milk chocolate hit first, followed by vanilla, soft bourbon, and a hint of cinnamon.
T: Sweet rice milk, creamy milk chocolate and vanilla hit first and dominate. Subtle bourbon and cinnamon notes.
M: Medium heavy body. Quite sweet, which seems to lighten the body. Soft and creamy feel. Layers of chocolate, milk, and vanilla sweetness that linger on the palate.
D: A good variant, but just be prepared for a lot of sweetness. This one seems to cross the border into (or at minimum gets very close to) pastry stout territory.
