Apricity means ‘the warmth of the sun in Winter’ and we thought this was a perfect name for our welcoming ESB which was first launched in cask in February. Its distinct balance gives this beer a great drinkability with notes of caramel, nuts and a light floral undertone from the British hops.
Hops: Ernest, Goldings.
Malt: Low Colour Maris Otter, Amber, Dark Crystal, Caramalt, Wheat.

500ml bottle.
L: Clear, pale amber with half a finger of off-white, cream head.
S: Fruity and clean.
T:
F: Soft mouthfeel, light oil slick, a hint of carbonation and a dry-ish finish.
O: A very easy-drinking ESB. Maybe a little too easy, in that it lacks some of the more assertive fruit and caramel characteristics of a traditional ESB. It becomes more complex as it warms but it’s still a tad bland for the style. I’m certain this is better on cask.
