March 2014: 500 ml bottle conditioned, thanks to my beerpal Olav. Gyle: OHO005. ABV is 5.0%. Hazy golden colour, moderate white head. Pleasant aroma of Christmas spices, possibly including coriander, cinnamon and cloves, hints of citrus. Refreshing citrussy and distinctly spicy / peppery flavour. Aftertaste of pepper and bitter hops. Not your average Christmas ale, but quite enjoyable.

Very coarse and heavy texture with a subtle smell of Blueberry. Does become easy drinking and the blueberry flavour does begin to be more apparent the more you drink. Very nice beer for those who like things sweet, but not powerfully sweet.

My beer of choice for this festive day. I really liked the blueberries in this one.
