Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a light to medium golden amber with a thin white head that dissipates quickly to sparse patches. Aroma of light sweet malt with slight caramel, a little butter. Flavor is light sweet malt with hints of caramel and biscuit, faintly buttery. Finish is grain husk and light grassy hops. Light to medium bodied. A rather bland blonde ale and the buttery quality is not inspiring (although it actually gives it a bit of character). There are some good malt and grain flavors trying to get out, but they are too muted to be interesting. There is no indication of ABV on the bottle or website for this, but I suspect it's low, maybe 4-4.5%. Light and refreshing, but pedestrian.
