On tap at the brewery, and available for take out in party pigs. Poured in to a pint glass.
Pours a garnet red color and is clear. Moderate white head.
Smell is faint and a sharp acid aroma, like olive oil.
Taste is typical of a Rocky Coulee brew, strong malt presence and very little hop flavor. Bit of a buttery diacetyl flavor.
Mouth feel is pretty average. Thin with low carbonation.
Drinkable is you are in for a flat malty brew. Sessionable and not filling. It's OK, but not one of my favorites. Like the economic crisis it is named for, I won't mind if it goes away.
