This must be a different batch than the other reviewers tried because it is a light golden color. Still, the smell of smoke sausage is in the air, and even more so in the aftertaste. Not my favorite style, but it ranks right up there with some echt Deutsch rauchbiers I've had.

A: Dark hazy brown. Subtle goldenness.
S: Smelled just like a farm but not offputting to me. Have you ever been to the county fair? And you walk in the room where they have all the show pigs? It smelled like that. And it wasn't just me, like three other people I was with said the same thing.
T: Tasted like the smell. Not a very complex taste but unique indeed.
M: Sat alright. A little too bubbly and a little lingering bitterness.
Overall an ok brew. It had a unique taste but it didn't really compliment anything else in the beer leaving it overall only slightly above average.
