This is made specially for the Ezo Beer KK in Hokkaido, Japan.
Beautiful opaque read with very small white head.
Berry and malt aroma with strong spicy hops.
Tastes significantly less exciting than the intense and wonderful aroma. Low hops upfront that continue into an excellent bitter finish. Light berry flavor than finishes into a slight sourness.
This is the information I found on Ezo's website.
A Fruit Beer made from the Hascup berry. a berry found only on the Island of Hokkaido and some parts of Siberia Chitose Hascup Beeris created from Northwest Harrington and Klages, and Maier Munich Malts (18% speciality grains, .19 lbs grain per bottle). Willamette and Cascade hops. Measurements: 13 degrees Plato, IBU 34, Apparent Attenuation 77, Lovibond 20.6. 5.1%
