This pours a red-brown with a creamy, off white head. Okay retention with the head dissipating to patchy spots over the beer.
A light aroma of tart cherries with a slight acetic character is quite nice. Slightly vinous.
A good, sweet and sour flavour is going on here with nice balance. Quite vinous with some lactic character, light sour cherry flavour in the background. I was hoping for something a bit punchier but it had depth and grew on me.
Medium body with average carbonation. Very smooth.
This is very easy to drink. A mildly tart sour which I'm sure would develop with a few month more aging. A tasty, refreshing brew which I really hope does get brewed again.
