On cask tap at the brewery. Labelled both as their autumn ale and as Lazy Days - I'll stick with the latter, as the former is archived as no longer brewed. (Suffice to say, I drank this in the autumn, so it therefore is an autumn ale!). Enjoyed on the patio on ANZAC Day.

Poured into a nonic. Amber copper, slightly hazy, good frothy head. Looks like a cask ale.

Nose is toffee, caramel, tea, herbal and citrus hops, a bit of earth and iodine. Good blend here.

A lovely cask bitter to while away the afternoon. Opens with a rich malty profile - caramel, toffee, maple, cream - before melding into a tea and citrussy hopped finish. Neat and clean to the finish.

Good carbonation for a cask, medium bodied, slightly acidic.

A fine autumn ale, full of flavor. Drawn from the cask and served in the fall sunshine, there's not much better.

Crystal clear amber colour with a fluffy, light tan head. Decent head retention and great lacing.

Rich malty aroma with light toffee and caramel notes. Good earthy hop character.

Big balanced bittersweet flavour with lots of hop bitterness up front countered by a rich, toffee malt character. Nice earthy bitterness with a touch of floral character in the finish. Mild esters.

Medium-light body with moderately-high carbonation. Very gassy for a cask beer.

A nice, big English ale with bags of flavour. I like the bitterness combined with the sweetness but there is a touch less finesse here than I expected.
