I'm finally giving this one a shot after it's been sitting in my room for a few weeks. Small, stubby bottle with a neat shape, stamped with the date 06.01.03.
This one poured out a transparent, pale, yellow/golden color with a fluffy and airy pure white foam. Head fell quickly, but a small portion retained itself for a while.
The aroma was doughy and malty, slightly soapy, with a light apple fragrance and a lingering fresh-cut grass smell.
Crisp, fresh apple taste dominated. Very fruity and sour, cider-like tartness. This one stayed wet in the mouth and kept my palette nice and refreshed. Medium body gave this one some noticeable weight and lowered the drinkability score. Also, a slightly bitter twang was present in the finish.
A decent entry from Baeren. This is the first Ji-Biru craft I've had from them, and I'm willing to try others as they're available to me.
