Amber brown body with a light gauzey-tan head. Toasted malt aromas over nuts, with some mild chocolate and bitterness. Kind of blah. Taste is similar: the flavors are there, but they are very subtle and shy. Nutty, caramel-sweet, some grain astringency. Bitter finish. Light bodied. Not much here to get excited about, even if it is for Lord Nelson.
