Clear amber colour with a moderate sized off-white head. Poor head retention.
Moderate, sweet, banana and vanilla aromas. Slightly spicy and reminiscent of hefeweizen.
Really, really weird. All I can taste is hefeweizen. I get a couple of toffee notes through later but the vanilla notes of the whisky and oak and the fruity British ale yeast are lending this beer a strange combination that adds up to German Wheat.
Medium body with moderate carbonation.
An interesting beer. I'm not sure if I like it but it isn't really any style so it seems okay for what it is. I certainly prefer it to the straight Whisky Bock.
