Light chill haze. Neutral gold color. Little head that only leaves an occasional spot for lace.
Low hop profile for the style. It smells similar to their Helles—malty and slightly sweet. There is an unusual cigarette smoke (ash?) smell in the background.
Full bodied enhanced by the lower carbonation. More malty than typical, at least the bitterness shows up lightly in the swallow. Shorter aftertaste.

Poured an orange color, quite hazy, with a cream colored foam, not too much.
Malty in the smell, with some little perceptible hop.
In the mouth the hop is more present, but on a malty base a bit too sweet.
And all is quite raw and not elegant at all.
