On tap, pulled into a tulip beer flight glass. Appearance is a hazy golden-yellow hue, topped with a relatively thin and transient white head of froth. Aromas released are mainly hoppy and citrus in nature, plenty of fruity, zesty flavours, as well as more subtle earthy, dough flavours. Taste is dominated by the earthy and yeasty farmhouse saison flavours, overlaid with more subtle hoppy bitter-sweetness, which then persist into the long finish. Brewers have achieved what they set out to do, to hop up a traditional saison, and this lends itself to a very tasty and refreshing brew!
