330ml bottle served in a footed pilsner glass. Handed to me by @shigg85 earlier this week. 2024/11 is stamped on the label.
Pours caramel-brown with a medium-to-large sized head, moderate carbonation, strong retention, leaving behind a thick, multi-millimeter skin. Smell is tons of dates, vanilla, molasses.
Taste is darker and boozier than the smell suggested, more burnt toffee, more wood tannins. Some cola or root beer.
Mouthfeel is light, smooth, clean. Overall, tasty, good, dangerously easy to drink for an 11.5% abv beer.
