Wardance is a unique and drinkable American Pale Ale, inspired by the thrash metal band Anthrax. This beer is medium-bodied and amber-colored, with rich foam and a bit of bitterness at the end. Like all great things, Anthrax and Wardance are both made in NY. Take a swig - it's so smooth it'll leave you begging for an encore.

A: The beer is quite hazy amber yellow in color and has a moderate amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a finger high off white head that died down, leaving a small pillowy patch of bubbles in the center, a collar around the edge, a thin layer of bubbles on the surface, and some lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of limes are present in the nose along with notes of herbal hops and hints of caramel and pale malts.
T: The taste follows the smell, except that the herbal hops flavors are much more subdued and hardly contribute anything in the way of bitterness.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied on the palate and a little watery with a moderate amount of carbonation. No crispness is perceptible.
O: This beer is easy to drink, but seems like it could use some more of a malt body and hop bitterness to be in line with other APAs.

DATE: July 27, 2017... OCCASION: Northeast Premiere League draft going down in five minutes... this is definitely a beer for the "war room"... GLASSWARE: Kisatsky Tavern pint... pours a mosh pit's worth of active, swirling bubbles that enhance the orange amber body... the head is immediately chunky, pock-marked and thick, with bubbles clustering all around the glass...the off-white head evokes a foam mattress, with ridges and valleys cragging to an attractive cake... active hints of honey, caramel, and wheat take the lead, forcing the soft aroma of flowers and wet hops to the background... engaging and definitely an East Coast attempt... first sip is smooth, buttery on the lips, thin at the teeth and not substantial at the exit--a beer that comes in and goes out almost with too little fanfare, even for a pale... big caramel and sugars in the profile, with some spiciness too... low bitterness, due mostly to the aromatic flower and buttery quality of the hops... does everything from Butter Nuts taste buttery by mere namesake insinuation? This looks every bit like a beer worthy of a Big Four metal band... but the flavor and mouthfeel make for a beer that is more Antisocial than Fueled...

Delightfully crisp! This is quite a great pale ale. The head is thick and foamy!

I didn't add this beer, but it looks like I'm the first to review it. Poured from a 12 oz. can. Has a copper color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is of hops, a bit minty. Taste is hops up front, some mints, malts are present. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall is a decent beer.

Pretty smooth....not very hoppy with low-mid fizz. Very sessionable. Give it a try
